About See the World project
The See the World project was created to bring the wonders of the world to people with complex cognitive and communication disabilities.
Born out of a need to stay connected during times of isolation — such as the COVID-19 pandemic and recent conflicts — the project offers simple, accessible, and meaningful content that opens a window to the world.
Through short videos and guided activities, See the World helps individuals explore new ideas, places, cultures, colors, shapes, and inventions — all from the comfort of their daily environment. Each piece of content is carefully designed by professionals from education, therapy, and social work fields, with deep expertise in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
The project will be accompanied by a formative assessment, and it will grow over the years with additional content.
